WHAT IS KRATOM?
Mitragyna speciosa, from which kratom is subsequently produced, is a tropical tree growing to a height of 25 meters originating from Southeast Asia, which is still its homeland today. Its leaves contain a chemical substance called mitragynine, which can have similar effects on the human body as, for example, opioids or stimulants. In addition to the mentioned mitragynine, this tree also contains other effective indole alkaloids, especially 7-hydroxymitragynine.

Kratom itself is then a term taken from Thai for the dried leaves of Mitragyna speciosa, which have been used for hundreds of years in traditional Asian medicine as a plant to help increase alertness and provide energy. So it can simply be said that it is a century-proven stimulant for better performance. Although kratom has been used as an herbal dietary supplement for a long time, in recent years it has also started to be used in Western civilization to manage the withdrawal symptoms of drug addiction or to combat coughs, pain, depression or anxiety....

IS KRATOM LEGAL?
Yes, possession and trading of kratom is completely legal in the Czech Republic and in accordance with the legislation. However, not everything is as simple as it might seem at first glance. According to the laws of the Czech Republic, kratom is not an approved nutritional supplement, i.e. food, but falls into the category of collector's items. Its purchase should therefore always be conditional on keeping and using it as a collector's item. But its users should know that... :-)

KRATOM DOSAGE:
Each species has its own specifics for what it is used for and this is stated in the product details, but the dosage should be the same for each and that is 2-6 grams - of course it depends on the weight of the individual (general guideline 0.06 g per 1 kg of weight) . It should be used approximately 1x to 3x a week by sprinkling it into water or food.
If the doses are higher, it can happen that its effects will be even sedative...
